    An AI Action is a unit of AI-delivered work representing an entire completed AI section. Most forms have between 0 and 2 AI sections, with the rest being standard form fields.

    1 AI Action = 1 AI interview or AI autofill section

    An AI interview action covers up to 10 total messages (5 AI questions and 5 user responses). For deep-dive discovery, every 10 additional messages utilize 1 additional AI Action. This ensures you only pay for the value the AI provides in guiding your users through complex workflows.

    An AI autofill section processes uploaded files and user-entered data to extract information, auto-populate fields, and perform automated evaluations in one go. This covers everything from qualifying leads and routing requests to extracting structured data from resumes, invoices, handwritten forms, or even audio/video recordings.

    What are AI interview and AI autofill?

    AI interview: A dynamic, branching conversation where the AI asks follow-up questions in real-time based on user answers. It's designed to qualify leads or screen candidates exactly like a human would.

    AI autofill: instantly populates form fields to synthesize data from a user's previous answers and uploaded files (PDF, image, or even video/audio).

    Both features use Document Intelligence to understand context, meaning that if a user uploads a resume or a medical report, FluidForms doesn't just "read" the text—it interprets it to ask intelligent questions and fill the correct fields with structured data.

    Can AI autofill do more than extract text into form fields to save time?

    Yes. Beyond simple extraction and summarization, Autofill uses Document Intelligence to evaluate the data it finds. It can perform high-level analysis such as:

    • Candidate scoring: Does this resume match our job description? (Good fit / Not a fit)
    • Intent classification: Is this inquiry a Support issue, a Sales lead, or a Billing question?
    • Risk assessment: Flagging anomalies in medical reports or legal contracts automatically.

    These evaluations feed directly into your downstream workflows (like Zapier or Webhooks), allowing you to route leads or trigger different automations based on the AI "opinion."

    What's included in Business vs. Pro?

    Business plans are designed for teams with higher volumes and advanced needs. They include significantly more AI Actions (500-4,000/month vs. 100/month), higher file limits (up to 20 files, 500 MB each vs. 5 files, 50 MB each), premium integrations, multiple users, priority support, and the ability to remove FluidForms branding.

    What are the branding differences between plans?

    Standard (Free): FluidForms branding may appear prominently on your forms.

    Minimal (Pro): A small, unobtrusive FluidForms footer.

    Removable/White-label (Business+): Fully removable FluidForms branding, plus customizations like using your company logo as the AI avatar for a fully branded experience.

    Can I change my plan later?

    Yes, absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately with prorated amounts charged or refunded, while cancellations are processed at the end of your current billing cycle.

    Is there a free trial?

    You can sign up for our Free plan to explore FluidForms with 10 lifetime AI Actions, 100 responses per month, and all core features. It's a great way to experience the platform before committing to a paid plan.

    What happens if I exceed my monthly limits?

    We'll notify you by email and in-app as you approach your AI Action limits. If you go over, AI interview sections will automatically render as standard form sections for users to fill out, and AI autofill sections will be skipped—but we'll continue collecting responses without interruption. We'll reach out to help you find the right plan for your growing needs, or you can upgrade anytime from your dashboard.

    What are "fair use" limitations?

    In Free, Pro and Business plans, "fair use" for unlimited features (such as form responses, created forms, file storage, email notifications, and other integrations) means usage that's appropriate for your plan tier. If your usage consistently and significantly exceeds patterns typical for your plan, we'll proactively reach out to discuss your needs and suggest a more appropriate plan that better serves your requirements in order to ensure platform stability for all users.

    For Enterprise customers, we move away from standard fair use and into negotiated entitlements. Your contract will define specific, negotiated limits and overages for actions, storage, and users tailored to your organization's exact needs, providing you with predictable costs and dedicated resources.
